Earth’s Children Series by Jean M. Auel
The series has 6 books and begins with The Clan of the Cave Bear. I’ve literally intended to start this series for years, but I finally got Cave Bear on kindle recently, so I should be starting it soon!
Six of Crows Series by Leigh Bardugo
This series hasn’t been out for too long but I’ve heard loads of good things and have been meaning to read it. I also got Six of Crows on kindle recently and hope to start it soon.
The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan
This series is so intimidating–there are many books and from what I’ve heard it’s a huge commitment. I’ve also heard the series starts off strongly and then tapers off, so I at least want to read the first couple books.
The Scott Pilgrim Series by Bryan Lee O’Malley
I’ve read bits and pieces of this series, I think, but I’ve never actually read it, you know? Anyway, it looks cute as hell and I know so many people who love it, so I really need to finally get to it.
The Red Queen Series by Victoria Aveyard
Another series I’ve heard loads of good things about, but just haven’t gotten around to yet.
The Dune Series by Frank Herbert
Another intimidating series. I’ve heard these books can be somewhat dense, but I’ve always wanted to read them!
The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
Again, another series I’ve heard some really good things about. This has come recommended to me several times, so I really need to get to it.
A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas
I think literally everyone besides me has read this series.
Sarah Ames-Foley 
I liked the start of the Earth’s Children series a lot. Clan of the Cave Bear was great. Valley of Horses was really good. I enjoyed The Mammoth Hunters. But as it went along the quality of the books declined steadily and they became very dull and redundant IMO.
I’m obsessed with the Outlander series though. It’s rare to find a series that can have 8 book (all 800+ pages) and still leave me impatiently waiting for the next book!

That’s all very good to know! I think I only have the first three books in the Earth’s Children series anyway, so if those are the only good ones, I’m golden!

Well those are the ones that I liked. The 4th was OK, but you can just stop at that point. You get the overall impression of where it’s going at the end of that one, and the last two were mostly not worth it to me.

There’s so many wonderful series out there that I’ve yet to start, Six of Crows was one of those until recently too actually. I started reading it and although the writing is as brilliant as the characters, I’m just struggling to get into it. I really probably should have read her Grisha series beforehand, having that prior knowledge would have helped. I’ve never heard of the Earth’s Children series so excited to check that out. I’m planning on reading Six of Crows this summer! Red Queen was fine, but I haven’t felt the need to read the sequel yet even though I have it. ACOTAR is good, but the second book in the series is much better than the first.

The Six of Crows duology is absolutely epic and you should pick it up soon! And I actually just recently started the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I thought the first book was so-so but book two definitely gave me all the feels because of a particular character. Anyway, I hope you do get to these books someday. Happy reading!
