This year was my first year using a spreadsheet to document my reading and I LOVED it. I used Brock’s spreadsheet, which I plan on using again this year. It helps me keep all my reading organized, keep track of which books I still need to review, and gives me plenty of fun stats. So, today’s post will be a nice little wrap-up of my reading stats for 2018!

Loved seeing you reading statistics for the year – it’s so interesting to see patterns in your reading, etc. What was you favourite read of the year?

Thank you! My favorite read was probably Annihilation or The Pisces. What was yours? 🙂

Ooh, I haven’t read either of those, although I did pick The Pisces up in a bookshop the other day. It’s hard to pick just one but a few favourites were The Toymakers, The Storm Keeper’s Island and The Dollmaker of Krakow. Oh and The Bear and the Nightingale and the second one in that series The Girl in the Tower…I could go on! 🙂

I like that last pie chart – I usually forget about DNFs as soon as I DNF them, but it’s interesting to see a ratio of DNF to read to reread.

I thought it was interesting, too! I had forgotten about most of my DNFs. There was also a chart that showed how many DNFs I had per month. It seemed like I may have gotten better at picking out books I’d like as the year went on, because I DNFed less and less.
