T10T: Books Published in the Last 10 Years

ttt-new

Top Ten Tuesday was originally put together by The Broke and the Bookish and has been taken over by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is favorite books released in the last 10 years — with 1 book per year!

2010 – Sex at Dawn

There are a lot of criticisms out there for this one, but I found it to be an interesting history of human sexuality. And quite validating as a polyamorous queer woman! Review.

2011 – Wool

I’m not sure what the actual publication date is for Wool, but we’ll go with 2011. I just LOVE this sci-fi novel; I read it for the first time around 2012 or 2013 and then re-read it again this past winter. It holds up on a re-read and I cannot recommend it enough.

2012 – The Raven Boys

Aaa, I can’t believe it’s been so long since The Raven Cycle began! Review.

2013 – Vampires in the Lemon Grove

Ah, I adored this when I first read it! I’ve actually been meaning to re-read it sometime soon.

2014 – Annihilation

Wow, 2014 was a tough one, but I AM gonna have to go with Annihilation. Review.

2015 – A Head Full of Ghosts

I really loved the A Head Full of Ghosts audiobook and can’t wait to get a physical version to re-read and compare it to! Review.

2016 – The Fireman

Something else I’ve been intending to re-read! A nice mix of sci-fi and horror in this one.

2017 – Strange Weather

Uh oh, Joe Hill two years in a row! This is why he’s become an auto-buy author for me. Review.

2018 – The Pisces

This one was easy peasy. 😉 I love The Pisces so, so, so much. Review.

2019 – Red, White & Royal Blue

I wasn’t sure whether or not to include 2019 since we’re not even halfway through, but figured it would be fun to see what my top book was so far! Is anyone surprised by this one? Review.

  1. Ooooh, I never see anyone talk about Wool. I have Wool, Dust and Silo (?) – I was recommended them so I got Wool and then someone else bought me the second one, and then I bought the last one, but I’ve actually not read them yet…

    1. Omg they’re sooo good! I had a friend recommend them a while back and I think I tore through all three books in a week or so. I actually re-read them all a few months ago and still loved them!
