September was another great reading month, in terms of quantity if not quite quality. I felt like the month flew by (faster than the others!), but I moved to a new apartment, which took up quite a bit of time and energy. I’m getting settled in to my new neighborhood and I love it! I also applied to grad school for Spring 2020 admit and should be hearing back within the next month or so. Fingers crossed! If I get into the program I want, I’m sure my blogging will both slow down and get some new topics thrown in, so be prepared.

Ooh interested to hear what you think of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend?! It’s got a special space in my heart because of the BPD rep, but I’m always interested to hear what other people think!

I’m really loving it!! I relate a lot to the MC and just hit the part where her boss realizes he’s bi and honestly wanted to cry at the explicit on-screen rep. It’s just so fun and such a great show.

Congratulations on applying to grad school, that is so exciting! I hope you get in! Also – I hope that you like crazy ex-girlfriend! It is my favorite show of all time, but it seems pretty polarizing among my friends hahah

It looks like you had such a productive month! Congrats on completing your apartment move, and BEST WISHES for your grad school admission!!
I haven’t seen Pet Sematary yet (I’ve been underwhelmed by the responses to it, tbh) but am still planning to at some point. I’m glad at least that you didn’t think it was TERRIBLE.
Also, love your photos, as usual. 🙂

Thank you!! It was def an interesting month, ha.
Honestly, the more I think back on it, the more I liked it! I didn’t think it was incredible or anything, but it was pretty good. Remind me if you’ve read the book? I thought the plot choices they made were interesting and made sense.
And thank you, I love how much people love my photos hehe ❤

I have read Pet Sematary, and really liked the book, but it’s been years! I haven’t seen the older adaptation yet either. I might try for a reread and then watch both, at some point. I’m glad the new film is improving with time for you! I think even knowing going in that it’s not going to be the Best Movie Ever will probably help me to enjoy it as well.

I haven’t read it in a few years and think a little distance from the book might work in your favor! Watching it after the older one might also help, because the original adaptation is BAD.

Ha, I have heard the old version’s nothing fantastic! I just thought it might be interesting to compare. I did the same with the IT movies, and the old version of that isn’t great either, lol. But if distance might help, maybe I’ll go ahead and watch and save the reread. Thanks!

That’s true! I did watch the Old IT before the new one, and it was fun to compare. Def save the reread though, imo. 🙂
