Bookworm Blogging, Monthly Wrap-Ups

September 2022 Wrap-Up

Lots of reading and lots of movies this month! I also had a couple brief trips; it was nice spending time with some friends who live further away. I also got an internship (!!!) so I’ll have slightly less time for reading and other media moving forward. I’m working in breastfeeding equity research and I’m super excited about it!

  • Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey. 4.5 stars, review.
  • Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. 4 stars, review.
  • Ace by Angela Chen. DNF, review.
  • The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. 4 stars, reread, review.
  • Carrie by Stephen King. 4 stars, reread, review.

  • The Fate of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. 3.5 stars, reread, RTC.

  1. I’ve been thinking about Piransi, it was a little too hyped for me, but it really seems to stick with people. Your hair is gorgeous, and Miles Teller is awfully impressive in Whiplash, isn’t he? 😊

    1. I definitely found Piranesi interesting, but I don’t think it’s something I’ll think about too much moving forward! I found the reveals so interesting, though. Thank you so much! And yes, I was so impressed with Miles in Whiplash, I can’t believe he did most of the drumming himself!
